An Arms length is standardized as a unit of distance equal to approximately 70 centimeters, or 28 inches. An arms length is the same as the modern Italian Braccio and very similar to the Turkish Pik.

Unit Definition (stick)
A stick, when used as a unit, is usually two inches, i.e. 5.08 cm (for the international inch). It was once used in the English tailoring business, but has since fallen out of use completely.
